The members of MBC’s “Infinite Challenge” and Big Bang boys will take part in a special battle.
A preview was released on April 23rd, capturing a special episode of the popular variety show, called ‘Gangs of Seoul’. Big Bang was shown in the short clip, raising the anticipation of the viewers.
It was previously revealed two days ago that Big Bang took part in an epic chase with the “Infinite Challenge” members. All five members participated in the ‘Gang of Seoul’ special, racing against time in an intense battle.
Kim Tae Ho PD showed his appreciation for the Big Bang members by tweeting, “It was lacking in preparation but I’m very thankful [to Big Bang] for working so hard and well.”
In 2NE1’s Bom’s comeback solo music video for “Don’t Cry“, fans noticed that she was wearing a posthumous work of designer Alexander McQueen.
The piece she’s wearing costs a whopping $20,000 USD, but according to fashion industry representatives, the dress has the potential to cost more since it’s McQueen’s final creation before his death.
The dress was under possession by McQueen’s family, but after finding out that McQueen had worked with Big Bang and 2NE1 in the past, they accepted Yang Hyun Suk’s request to feature it in Bom’s latest music video.
On April 22nd, Brand New Stardom shared a set of profile photos of the members of Block Bthrough their official fancafe.
In contrast to their flashier stage outfits, the boys are pictured with minimal styling and a simple sweatshirt. Fans were especially amused to see the group’s maknae rapper, P.O., looking playful and more like his age. Because Taeil’s was taken down from the fancafe, it will not be included below.
Netizens commented, “Someone call 119, I can’t breathe!”, “What are we to do with P.O.? Such a maknae!!”, “I love them in casual type outfits more”, and “I want those hoodies.”
Meanwhile, leader Zico recently revealed through Twitter that he was working on the group’s next title track. Be sure to catch Jaehyo’s first variety outing in the “100 Points out of 100” athletic special as well.
On April 22nd, Super Junior’s Heechul, B2ST’s Junhyung, and Supreme Team’s Simon Dshowed off their close friendship.
Heechul tweeted, “I’m over at Simon D’s with YongYong. I’m not even kidding, we’re always just hanging out with only men, talk about male loyalty. Poor YongYong, he can only ever hang out with men because of me.”
Sitting on a couch together, the three can be seen with stand-offish expressions. Despite the amount of eye candy in one picture, fans amused themselves over Heechul’s Spongebob socks.
Netizens commented, “They all look so close!”, “Simon D has a girlfriend though”, and “Daebak Spongebob socks!”
Motorola recently released their Android tablet device, Xoom and it seems an advertisement for this device has indirectly advertised K-Pop.
During the YouTube portion of the commercial, some eagle eyed netizens spotted GD&TOP’s ‘High High’ MV (with Big Bang’s G-Dragon still shot) being featured as one of the videos in the home tab for the YouTube application.
It seems the commercial was filmed around 4 months ago, the video was very popular after it’s release and was featured on YouTube’s home page. Since it’s release, the video has received more than 8.5 million views.

The morning of the 21st, Park Bom released her solo track, “Don’t Cry“, as her second digital single, and almost instantly thereafter, the song swept major online music charts, thus allowing Bom to achieve her second ‘all kill’.
YG representatives explained today through a telephone call with OSEN, “Park Bom’s song was released online, and at around 1AM, she called Teddy, who produced the song, and burst into tears. The moment Park Bom had started crying, Teddy knew something was going on and took the call while surprised and nervous.”
They added, “It appears that when she had saw that her song placed #1 on various sites, Park Bom wanted to thank Teddy. Also, as the first ‘runner’ in 2NE1’s comeback, she was simultaneously overwhelmed by pressure and relief, and that’s why she started crying. She was probably very worried about having to kick off 2NE1’s comeback with her solo song.”
Park Bom is currently dominating the music charts, with a so-called ‘through-the-roof’ force. Since the moment it was released, she swept the #1 spot not only on Melon, but also on Dosirak, Soribada, M.NET, Bugs, Monkey3, and other representative Korean music charts to achieve the status of ‘perfect all-kill’.
Meanwhile, YG Entertainment will be revealing 2NE1’s new songs every three weeks, starting with Park Bom’s solo, and utilizing a differentiated promotion system.
After melting the hearts of fans with their unique webtoons marketing style, WM Entertainment’s newest boyband, ‘B1A4‘, has finally made their debut on today’s episode of “Music Core“!
Their unique name is an abbreviation of ‘Be the one, All for one’, and also stands for Baro being type B blood, while Jinyoung, CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan being type A.
Their title track, “OK“, is an electronic track using rock as its base to feature the powerful and refreshing vocals of B1A4. With a catchy hook like, “Everything’s OK as long as I have you”, and an addictive melody to boot, the group seems to have what it takes work their way up to ‘becoming the ultimate’.
